(All of the colors look perfectly normal on the IPOD screen).Since I've only had this viewer less than 24 hours, I may decide to take it back an exchange it for the upgraded version (Crystal). I received the Myvu Personal Media Viewer Solo Plus Edition (MA-0495) as a gift, today to use with my IPOD Touch. My main concern is that all of the IPOD videos that I've tried so far, seem to have a rose-colored tint in the Myvu that I can't eliminate with the Myvu brightness/contrast controls. The rosey color is so bad that it's nearly impossible to enjoy the video.
I only learned of it when I called the manufacturer to seek guidance when the myvus that I received didn't work. No where in the product description would one know this. Big thumbs down. I suspect these video glasses work well but I don't know for sure as a special cable is REQUIRED to use with any version of an iPod. This cable costs an additional $24.95 plus shipping.
Since then I put taped on the back and its no problem. I bought these to use them at the dentist. I would recommend them. For the price, these glasses are pretty good. It does not say it but you can see behind the screen a see through. When they shined the light, i could not see anything.
(in other words, you have to hack it)If one actually does this, then you have a huge string of cables to contend with.Bottom line, this product does NOT perform as advertised.Stay away from MyVu products until they can move away from deceptive advertising claims. I bought this product based on the advertisement stating that it is PSP compatible. After opening the box, there were no PSP capable cables included.Going to the MyVu site, it states that you have to connect a PSP Composite cable to the the MyVu cable. This will also require you to use a set of RCA Couplers, in order to connect the cable sets.
i really like these they are nice for trips and they even have a very good picture i have even tried them on my ps3 and i have no complaints about them highly recommend them to any one.
